Accomplished Leadership: Jerry Grizzle
Jerry W. Grizzle, Ph.D., became president and CEO of AMS Health Sciences in 2006. Dr. Grizzle brings more than 20 years of comprehensive experience to the AMS team, with a broad management base in both business and military organizations. Whether running a business enterprise or commanding a military unit, he’s been responsible for recruiting new talent and providing the opportunity for those professionals to succeed based on their individual performance. Previously, Dr. Grizzle was the president/CEO of Orbit Finer Foods, Skolniks, and, most recently, CD Warehouse, in which he was fully responsible for all aspects of business development in a highly competitive marketplace. Prior to his tenure with CD Warehouse, Dr. Grizzle was vice president/treasurer of Sonic Industries, which owns the popular national SONIC Drive-In restaurant chain. He began his military career as a Private in 1971 and retired as a Major General in 2005. Dr. Grizzle received his MBA from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Ph.D. in business administration (marketing) from Oklahoma State University.
